Science Capital Daejeon will host the ‘Hydrogen Industry Life Cycle Product Safety Support Center’ Opening Ceremony
On Feb 28, the International Science Business Belt Research Site in Yuseong-gu, Daejeon has been announced to be the location for the opening ceremony of the ‘Hydrogen Industry Life Cycle Product Safety Support Center’. _________________________________________ Daejeon City has announced on February 28th that it will hold an opening ceremony for the ‘Hydrogen Industry Life Cycle Product Safety Support Center’ (수소산업 전주기 제품 안전성 지원센터) at the International Science Business Belt Research Site in Shin-dong, Yuseong-gu to foster the hydrogen industry and secure safety. The center was selected as a public offering project by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy in November 2018 and secured a total project cost of KRW 28.5 billion (KRW 10.5 billion from the government, KRW 18.5 billion from the municipality) to join the Hydrogen Fusion Alliance, Daejeon Technopark, Korea Energy Research Institute, Korea Institute of Machinery and Materials.
